Trunomi, a provider of customer-driven personal data sharing technology, today announces the appointment of Anna Mazzone as UK Managing Director and Global Head of Customer Development. Anna leads the company’s growing presence in the UK and Europe, reporting to CEO and founder, Stuart Lacey.

Anna brings 20 years’ financial services industry experience to her dual UK and global role at Trunomi. She joins Trunomi from Thomson Reuters where she was Global Head of KYC Managed Services. Anna founded and grew Thomson Reuters’ Org ID KYC Managed Service, leading the global business covering more than 80 countries and an organisation of 150 people.

Anna is leading the global growth of Trunomi’s client base, with operational responsibilities for Trunomi’s UK business based in Level39. Anna will oversee Trunomi’s engagements with partners and clients, supporting the company in its mission to securely connect financial institutions to their customers with its “customer-driven” data sharing platform.

Stuart Lacey, CEO and founder, says: “With a depth of international experience working for both Fortune 500 companies and SMEs, Anna’s unquestionable leadership experience and knowledge of financial markets will be an incredible asset. Anna brings a wealth of relevant experience from launching the financial industry’s first global Know Your Customer (KYC) Managed Service. Her fintech and wider financial services network are demonstrated in her position as a sought-after thought leader in the space and we are delighted to welcome her to our growing team.”

Anna Mazzone, UK Managing Director and Global Head of Customer Development, Trunomi, says: “Technology enables financial institutions to better manage regulatory and compliance obligations and it is clear that solutions such as Trunomi’s will be the future bedrock of innovative financial institutions. Joining Trunomi will enable me to make a significant impact in how client data is managed and shared in the new, digital world. I’m excited to join the team at a critical time in the market, as banks face up to the implications of the European General Data Privacy Regulations and look to fintech companies like Trunomi to help navigate this change.”

Anna’s appointment coincides with Trunomi’s first anniversary since launch, in a year that has included ranking in the 2015 European FinTech 50, winning the Visa Europe Collab competition, being named Company to Watch in the FinTech Forward and closing a $3million capital raise.
