Talking Data Management with Andrew Delaney: The DMS Roadshow

Blog entry

The DMS road show rolls back into town – New York, that is – in two weeks, and the prognosis is for a day of compelling debate, innovative ideas and new connections.

I’m very much looking forward to hosting the conference on November 3 at the downtown Convene centre. As you can see from the agenda, we’ll be covering a lot of ground, so plan on getting there early and staying for the duration.

This time, we’re featuring a particularly strong set of keynote presentations, from State Street global head of analytics Ivan Matiak, from JP Morgan Asset Management CDO Dessa Glasser, and – rounding out the day – from TD Ameritrade CDO Derek Strauss.

In between you’ll hear from seasoned data management practitioners on topics ranging from the impact of regulation to BCBS 239, data quality measurement, data architectures and client data management. We’ve tried to pack in as many of the topics we write about at Data Management Review every day, topics we’re currently covering in our client research projects.

I’ll also give an update on our Regulatory Data Index, providing a kind of leading indicator for future regulation-related data management activity. You’ll also be able to pick up a selection of our much loved handbooks at the event.

I look forward to welcoming you on November 3. I urge you to provide as much feedback as you can – we’ll be distributing feedback forms on the day – so we can continue to expand and improve.

See you soon!
